Gosia Dzik-Holden, the Stitchville creator, is a London based knitwear designer and a published pattern maker with extensive experience. Her particular interest is in achieving the synergy of form and function in her hand-made seamless garments. It is this technical sophistication accompanied by masterful execution and a perfectionist’s attention to detail, that distinguishes her style. She places great emphasis on the artisanal nature of her work and is strict in applying a very personal technical approach, which she has developed through years of practice. She effectively creates garment-shaped pieces of fabric, which need very little finishing as the fabric has the intrinsic form and qualities of the piece it is to become. All products are made from natural fibres like alpaca, wool, yak, cashmere, silk, linen, bamboo & cotton.

She is fascinated and inspired by the endless possibilities

of a thread or yarn. She skilfully bends this thread to her will and, by doing so, pushes her work against what’s considered the norm

in contemporary knitwear design and making.

She is currently teaching and working on her own seamless

knitted garments collection for a book.

Stitchville offers services in the form of consultations, designing,  pattern making and - occasionally - knitting up.
